About
My approach to baseball training involves tailoring instruction to fit each player's individual interests and skill level. I strongly believe in avoiding cookie-cutter or one-size-fits-all methods. As the only baseball instructor in the area who begins every student's training with a professional baseline assessment, I take pride in setting realistic goals and timelines for each athlete's progression.To promote growth, I regularly administer re-tests and utilize National Average Performance Standards, as well as the performance data of other local players in the same age and grade group. By developing a comprehensive understanding of my students' strengths and weaknesses, I help them improve their throwing velocity, bat exit speed, running speed, and other important metrics.
Through personalized instruction, I instill passion for the sport in young players while ensuring that training remains enjoyable. Beyond training sessions, I support my students by attending games and providing ongoing guidance throughout the season.

Coach Gil is a renowned baseball trainer who has helped numerous players improve their skills. Despite my son having private trainers for hitting, fielding, and pitching over the years, I decided to switch him to Coach Gil just two months before his high school freshman tryouts for a final tune-up. To my amazement, Coach Gil significantly enhanced my son's bat speed and the velocity of balls off of his bat by an average of 15mph on regular swings within that short time frame. His lessons are well-rounded and cover important aspects of the game, including hitting, fielding, throwing, and overall player development. Moreover, Coach Gil provides superb progress tracking and communication, which surpass every other trainer we've worked with. We intend to keep working with Coach Gil throughout my son's high school baseball career.
