My musical interests have been shaped by my diverse upbringing, encompassing various cultures and languages. Growing up in the Northwest, I gained a deeper appreciation for the local artists and community. My passion for music was evident early on, as I was often designated the DJ for family events and functions. I take great joy in seeing people have fun, which led me to establish my organization, Freshest Roots. Through this platform, I am able to connect with live performers and express myself through event planning and organizing community gatherings.I have had the opportunity to showcase my skills at various events, including those hosted by Highline College, Seattle University, and the University of Washington. My ultimate goal is to provide a musical experience that resonates with my audience. I enjoy playing and listening to a wide variety of music genres, including hip hop, R&B, jazz, funk, bachata, salsa, cumbia, merengue, reggaeton, reggae, dancehall, calypso, soca, azonto, and more. As we cherish the moments and memories in our lives, let us ensure that the soundtrack is equally memorable.
Collaborating with others in event planning is something that brings me great pleasure, and I am driven by my desire to see people have a good time.

For my outdoor wedding, I decided to hire DJ Eddie. He impressed me and the guests with his excellent music selection that perfectly catered to what the crowd wanted. I received many compliments for his great work and the quality of his playlist. DJ Eddie offered his services at a price that was lower than other DJs, providing affordable entertainment for the event. Without hesitation, I would strongly suggest hiring him to anyone seeking a DJ for their event.

Working with DJ Eddie is something I truly enjoy! Having collaborated with him on more than five occasions, I can confidently say that the experience has been excellent. DJ Eddie brings with him everything necessary for my events to be successful, including speakers, music, cords and more. However, when I recently decided to try a different DJ to better accommodate my audience, it turned out to be a nightmare. The DJ did not have his own equipment, which forced me to shell out an additional $500 to rent and pick up the necessary gear.
Unlike the other DJ, DJ Eddie is great fun and has an impressive range of music, enabling him to cater to a variety of audiences. While I am mostly attuned to Rap & R&B, DJ Eddie skillfully infuses reggae, Latin, Caribbean and even Kenyan music into his sets, which is simply amazing and keeps me thoroughly engaged.
With DJ Eddie set to play at my wedding in October, I am nothing short of thrilled about the reception. I know it’s going to be an absolute blast!
