We had the pleasure of hiring Cultivated Tastes (Gerry & Kendall Herrfurth) twice, once for our son's baby shower and once for his baptism, and we couldn't be more pleased with their exceptional service. They were prompt, professional, and provided top-notch service, catering both stationary and passed hor d'oeuvres, along with creative and delicious specialty drinks, all in the comfort of our home. The level of communication leading up to each event was outstanding. The food itself was simply amazing, and our guests raved about how wonderful the events were - all thanks to Gerry and Kendall. We wouldn't hesitate to hire them again in the future.

Chef Gerard was an absolute joy. We enlisted him to prepare a special dinner for my sister's bachelorette weekend, and the entire evening was unforgettable, largely due to the incredible cuisine. From the outset, I conveyed to Chef Gerard that this was unfamiliar territory for me, and he deftly led me in selecting food styles and menu items that fit a "street food tapas" theme. On the night of the event, he and his sous chef Ellie arrived promptly at 5 and immediately began crafting amazing dishes, including flawlessly cooked shrimp al ajillo, Thai spring rolls, tacos, three distinctive salads, and the most excellent gluten-free apple crisp I've ever tasted. The wide variety of special sauces imbued the food with a "next level" taste. They left the kitchen spotless and faded away into the dark, making it a never-to-be-forgotten evening.

Chef Gerard provided us with an outstanding culinary experience. He arrived promptly at our AirBnB and prepared a sensational four-course meal using fresh seasonal ingredients. Our appetizers were served outside while we enjoyed our cocktails, and each dish was expertly plated. Chef Gerard showcased local elements and bread, providing insightful commentary on the sourcing and cooking process. The service was timely, and the cleanup process was exceptional. Throughout the planning process, he maintained excellent communication and demonstrated superb value compared to other options. We have every intention of enlisting his culinary specialties again and highly recommend him to anyone seeking a private chef experience.

Amazing! I engaged Cultivated Tastes to take care of my birthday party for about 20 people at my home, and Chef Gerry and Kendall surpassed our expectations in every aspect!
