He promptly answered my messages and finished the project in just one week after our initial discussion. His activities included power washing, board replacements, and staining. Our project involved rebuilding a deck, two pergolas, and replacing exterior wood flooring with composite wood, all of which were flawlessly executed. Rene was absolutely amazing! My experience working with Rene was delightful and professional. Initially, I sought help for a straightforward repair job on CrackerJack. Specifically, there was a wood beam under my deck that had become misaligned, and I needed assistance to fix it. After requesting a quote from three contractors, Rene was the first to respond quickly and effectively. Although a second contractor responded, they never scheduled a visit, and the third never responded at all. In contrast, Rene requested photos and arrived on the same day to assess the situation. While examining the misaligned beam, he noticed that the bottom of one of the posts holding it up had sunk. Ultimately, we agreed on which repairs were necessary at a fair price, and Rene completed the job as planned the following day. However, as he was wrapping up, he discovered that the wood at the bottom of that particular post was rotted. Upon further inspection, he discovered that the other posts holding up the deck were in disrepair and anchored incorrectly. Despite these serious structural issues, Rene never pressured me to address each issue, but rather presented them objectively. Instead, he dedicated himself to fixing the problems we agreed upon daily. His communication and work ethic were beyond reproach, and I appreciated the regular updates on his plans and photos of his progress. Rene is a highly skilled carpenter who conducts himself with the utmost professionalism. Although I ended up spending more than I initially planned, I have no regrets as Rene's handiwork instilled great confidence and trust. I highly recommend Rene Oliva Construction, LLC, and I plan to reach out to him again for future projects.
