Interestingly, despite being a lifelong cat enthusiast, my parents were not fond of pets, so my siblings and I were fortunate enough to have a succession of feline companions. It was during the Great Recession that I stumbled upon a job as a housekeeper for a family who were fervent dog devotees. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with their furry friends, who ended up being the inspiration behind my pet care business.
Since 2009, I've been providing dog walking and pet sitting services in the SE Seattle areas. To expand my range of offerings, I underwent mentoring under a retired Vet Tech and am now skilled in administering various medications such as insulin injections, pills, subq fluids, ear and eye meds, and tube feedings. In addition to being insured through Pet Sitters Associates LLC and Rover, I am also certified in Pet CPR and First Aid.
My services cater to the Madison Park, Madrona, Seward Park, Columbia City, Lakewood, Mt. Baker, and Leschi neighborhoods, and include solo leash walks for dogs, drop-in visits for cats and dogs, and overnight pet sitting. I've dealt with an array of canine personalities - from playful puppies to gentle seniors, from energetic athletes to fervent retrievers and swimmers, and even an anxious rescue puppy who seemed to lack exposure to the outdoors. Regardless of their character, I tailor my activities to the specific needs of each dog and their owner.
I've also worked with an extensive range of cats - from timid and reclusive to bold and enthusiastic hunters, from sprightly juveniles to elderly seniors. I have adored them all.
