Jay Chris Moore

Although I have taken some dance courses in college, I always sensed an absence in my abilities. Jay played a key role in helping me identify and remedy those shortcomings. Prior to meeting Jay, I relied on imitating others and memorization to perform choreography. However, I was lacking in freestyle, physical and self-confidence, self-expression, and overall comfortability in my own body. Being an analytical type as a software engineer, these weaknesses were tough to confront. Jay's sessions are geared towards addressing these areas of improvement by utilizing his attentiveness and observational capabilities. He pinpoints specific aspects to focus on that relate directly to my struggles. These areas may involve mindset, technicalities, or processes to be completed in class or as homework. Jay's teaching approach may be rigorous, but he has a genuine desire to assist his students throughout their dance journey.

Discovering Jay has been a stroke of luck for me. I had been keen on mastering Hip Hop dance for a while, but my search for an instructor in my age bracket was futile. However, he not only put me at ease but also imparted knowledge in an impartial manner and adapted to my learning pace. The lessons are a delight, and the support I receive has made my pursuit of this objective an enjoyable journey.

Though I only scheduled a session with Jay, it turned out to be truly incredible. Throughout the session, he put me at ease, corrected my technique, and offered me tips for improvement while abstaining from judgment. While personal issues prevented me from continuing, I must admit I regret not doing so. Nonetheless, I plan to return to Jay's soon and recommend him wholeheartedly. By the way, his dancing style is absolutely dynamite!

I cannot speak highly enough of him - he taught me how to dance! He was incredibly patient and provided clear instructions, even though I was a complete beginner. I have no hesitation in continuing to work with him. Thanks to him, I am now confident in my abilities, and I am grateful for everything he has done for me.

Without question, Jay is the most exceptional dance instructor I have ever encountered. He exudes professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm for teaching dance, which translates into valuable instruction. His genuine desire to help his students improve is apparent each time I attend his class, and it's no surprise that my confidence in dancing increases with every lesson. I am incredibly grateful to have found such an amazing teacher. Thank you so much, Jay!
