Based on a recommendation from a neighbor, we initially engaged with Farmily Home for rain gutter replacements and were pleased with their work. However, in the spring of 2018, a wind storm caused damage to our metal roof. We immediately contacted Family Home and within hours, they came out to cover our roof with a tarp. The team then worked closely with us and our insurance provider to ensure we received an appropriate replacement at an agreeable cost. The replacement crew put forth tremendous effort over the course of four days, even staying past hours to seal the roof before an expected rainstorm. We're confident that we received high-quality materials and service at a reasonable value.

After contacting Family Roofing through CrackerJack over the weekend, I was thoroughly impressed with their service. They scheduled a meeting for Monday morning at 10 am, where we discussed the removal of my AC and old brick chimney, as well as patching and sealing the entire roof. Their reasonable quote of $2000 led to a crew of four arriving the next day and completing the entire job in just 3-4 hours. They were gracious enough to show me pictures of the work done and removed the old AC while cleaning up the mess caused by a few bricks falling through my ceiling. Although there was a hiccup in the scheduling, which led to them completing the job a day earlier than anticipated, I was happy with the work delivered. The lead on the project apologized numerous times for the miscommunication and informed me that they provide a one-year warranty on all the work they do. Despite their poor rating of 2.5 stars on Yelp, I am satisfied with this crew's workmanship. I believe that the communication between dispatch and the client could be improved, as even I was surprised by the change in their scheduling, but overall, a job well done.

I first came across Family Home Improvement when they failed to show up as scheduled. After I reached out, they acknowledged the situation and explained that they had to attend to an emergency. They promptly dispatched a representative the following day who assessed the leaky roof and other projects, all at no charge to me. Unfortunately, it has now been two weeks and I still haven't received an estimate. In light of this, I suggest that the company considers enhancing its customer service going forward.
