Organize to Live NC

For the past three years, I have attempted to tidy up my garage without success. Despite significant life changes such as job transitions, my children's growth, attending college, and moving in and out of the house, my garage became a space for dumping unused items. Although I occasionally made headway, the space would quickly turn into a mess again. Furthermore, after recently undergoing surgery, I was even less capable of organizing my garage. However, Deb came to my aid and was fantastic at helping me declutter my garage by disposing of unnecessary items and arranging the space. I learned that the key to success is removing things that you do not use or need. Deb asked insightful questions like "Do you need it or use it?" which made me reconsider what I should retain. Although Deb was firm, she was also kind, and I was relieved to part ways with certain items, despite liking them initially. Some of the items were brand new, but I recognized that they could be a better fit for someone else. I received a donation receipt, which will be helpful during tax season, and I am grateful for the skills required to tidy my space. Ultimately, having an organized space allowed me to think more clearly, feel less anxious, and enjoy my garage once more. Thanks, Deb!
