I am at a loss as to where to begin! Several years ago, I came across Bethany's photography page on Facebook and was so impressed with her work that I have been a loyal follower ever since. When it came time for me to plan my own wedding this year, I knew I had to hire her before anything else, even before I had chosen my own wedding dress! Although I hadn't decided on the venue or the theme/colors for our wedding, I knew without a doubt that Bethany would be our photographer. She provided us with a detailed questionnaire to get to know us and our expectations, which demonstrated her personalized approach to her services. We first met Bethany during our engagement shoot, which turned out to be an incredibly stressful day due to threatening thunderstorms. Despite having to travel from NC to VA on the day of our shoot, Bethany remained responsive to our needs and monitored the weather constantly. Thankfully, we were able to proceed with the shoot when the rain finally subsided, and it turned out to be a perfect day. Bethany was incredibly professional and made the shoot a breeze for us, guiding us through the process and capturing the raw emotions that best reflected our relationship. The best part was receiving the sneak peeks of our photos the very next day! These photos kept us patiently waiting for the full set in the weeks to come, which we were thrilled to receive and they exceeded all our expectations. Bethany went above and beyond, even creating a program for our wedding to ensure everything went according to our timeline and that all our vendors were on board with the plan. On the day of the wedding, despite some delays with hair and makeup, Bethany remained calm and professional and captured amazing photos of our preparations. She documented our entire day, from the church ceremony to our outdoor photos during cocktail hour, and all the way through to the reception and dance party. She worked tirelessly throughout the 8-hour shoot and was still able to capture every moment of our big day- it was well worth it! Even though she specializes in outdoor/destination photography, her indoor shots of our ceremony and reception were breathtaking; she captured every detail, every emotion and all the activities, and we could not have asked for better pictures! We are beyond grateful to Bethany for capturing the best day of our lives, and we highly recommend her work to anyone looking for a truly exceptional photographer. She deserves unlimited stars!
