About
Seattle, WA is my birthplace, hometown, and current place of residence. My artistic journey began with graffiti, which gradually evolved into a fascination for typography, calligraphy, and letter-based art. In 2018, I was awarded a year-long scholarship to study formal European gothic calligraphy under the tutelage of the world-renowned calligrapher, Paul Antonio Attong.As a full-time artist, designer, and mural painter, I operate out of a studio in Seattle. For over a decade, I have been commissioned to create unique murals and large-scale artworks for both residential and commercial clients. While each project demands different skill sets, my approach is always founded upon clear communication and defined expectations.
My undying passion centres around creating one-of-a-kind interior and exterior murals. I delight in every phase of the mural painting process - from meeting new clients, to crafting design concepts, to executing the piece on site.

A private painting lesson was customized by Leo Shallat and Mari Shibuya for my daughter and her two friends who are aged eleven. Leo proposed meeting at the mural they were currently painting and allowing the girls to contribute to it after the lesson. The outcome was remarkable! The girls were taught brushstroke fundamentals, paint blending, and landscape painting. Leo and Mari erected a shelter to shield from the weather and prepared all necessary materials. Their interaction with the girls was outstanding. Overall, it was a remarkable experience for the children.

Our stairway now boasts a stunning mural, courtesy of Leo, which we adore! He conducted himself in a professional and impressive manner throughout the project. Leo and I had a conversation to discuss our ideas for the mural, after which he presented us with three unique renderings to assist us in envisioning various possibilities. This proved invaluable, given that we lacked a clear idea of what we desired. Witnessing the transformation of the stairway was truly amazing!

Leo is an incredible artist! My spouse and I requested Leo to create a magnificent mural on a sizable wall in our flat. Within 48 hours, he presented us with a concept sketch, and within 3-4 days, he finished the project. The artwork is stunning, and we adore it! It exceeded our wildest expectations!
