Engaging Joseph to sand and stain my unit's floor turned out to be a regrettable decision. It was evident that it was his first time on the job, as there were several oversights. After the initial sanding, he failed to show up for the second appointment, and even after calling him, he was not available. When I reminded him of the unprofessionalism, he became hostile and told me to find another person for staining and varnishing. Unfortunately, things got worse, and he made mistakes on the floor with the wrong conditioning. This action necessitated a redo and incurred charges for sanding twice, which he refused to pay back. Despite multiple follow-ups through calls and texts, Joseph ignored every attempt to address the issue and absconded with the half-payment I made before commencing work. It took me ten days to research, obtain new quotes, and engage professionals to rectify the mess. In addition, he left the unit littered with waste and garbage, which cost me extra to clear. Overall, the experience was a waste of money and cost me valuable time. It's mind-boggling that someone could exhibit such unprofessionalism and irresponsibility in their job. I hope sharing this experience can save another person the agony of engaging Joseph in future.

While I was away in a different city, Joseph took on the project of painting a room for me. It was a great experience working with him, and he did an excellent job.

Joseph was fantastic. I required some patchwork done on a hole and the painting of a wall. Additionally, he graciously improved some areas of the ceiling's knockdown finish. After agreeing on a schedule, he provided me with a fair price. As I was not on-site, I appreciated the photos and video he sent. His suggestions were spot-on in terms of reducing future effort, expenses, and headaches. I will certainly enlist Joe's services once again for any paint-related tasks.
