About
Looking for a fun way to learn classical guitar? With over 20 years of experience in classical guitar and general musicianship instruction, I offer beginner to advanced lessons for all ages using traditional, classical, and Suzuki methods. I believe in prioritizing proper technique to build a strong foundation for my students, which can take longer but results in better long-term outcomes. Students taught using my methods can expect to play music more competently within six months. Additionally, I prioritize student enjoyment and seek students who genuinely want to learn the guitar. I encourage self-motivation and positive reinforcement to create a nurturing environment, and help students choose the musical style they want to pursue. I use highly effective guitar teaching methods, including the Suzuki method, which aims to create high ability and beautiful character through immersion, encouragement, small steps, and a personalized timetable for learning. For a few years now, my son Eli, who is presently 11 years old, has been receiving classical guitar tuition from Vadim and we both find it extremely enjoyable. With Vadim's tutelage, Eli has made significant progress, as evidenced by the pieces he performs in the monthly concerts put together by Vadim. Eli even won first place at his school's talent show with his rendition of a famous Flamenco piece! Vadim's professionalism and love for music shine through in his instruction, and his ability to effectively pass on his knowledge to his pupils is his greatest strength. He has a knack for getting kids to relate to him and his humor always brings a smile to their faces. We hope to continue working with Vadim for many more years.
