About
Greetings, my name is Tess Reyes, but you may know me as “Miss Tess”. Over the course of 30 years, I have been instrumental in leading, planning, and organizing art education enrichment programs for K-5 grade levels in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. I have developed innovative ideas and lessons for both the SRVUSD and the communities of San Ramon and Danville, including the creation of summer camp programs and art classes. Moreover, I am proud to have pioneered and established virtual/remote live art instruction services for individuals of all ages through ArtwithMsTess.com. My Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a Magna Cum Laude background has allowed me to develop a unique approach to art instruction and to guide my students towards achieving great success in their artistic pursuits. Working with Ms Tess was a delightful experience, and I wholeheartedly recommend her! Despite lacking any painting skills, I have longed to explore the world of oil paints; unfortunately, I never quite knew how to begin, and the idea of painting always felt rather daunting. Ms. Tess has been teaching my boys, aged 8 and 12, for nearly two years. She is a highly supportive instructor, capable of working with children across various ages and proficiency levels.
