About
Lilo's Kitchen is a small business owned and managed by women of color, and a family affair. Established in September 2020 by Norma and Leslie, Lilo's Kitchen has catered events for various renowned corporate companies like Uber, Google, Gilead, and some of the Bay Area's biggest festivals such as Foodieland, Treasure Fest, and County Fairs. However, private events such as weddings, birthdays, divorce parties, etc. are their forte. Services provided by Lilo's Kitchen include mobile catering using their food truck, taquiza-style catering, and buffet catering. Lilo's Kitchen also provides vending events management.
While Lilo might be undeniably cute, he is more than eyelashes and a wagging tail. Lilo is Leslie's son and the real boss. The specialty dish of the house is the Beef Birria - which is shredded beef that has been slow-cooked in a flavorsome broth. The Birria Taco with Consome, Ramen Birria, Birria Grilled Cheese, and Birria Pizza are some of the many dishes they provide with their beef birria.
Lilo's Kitchen was born when auntie Norma made Birria Tacos with Consome. Leslie instantly knew the dish was something that deserved sharing with everyone. And so, Lilo's Kitchen started from auntie's small kitchen and a Black and Decker grill. Within three months of their launch, thanks to their loyal customers, they managed to own and operate a food truck. Their primary objective was to share authentic homemade Latin American food with everyone.
Norma, the other co-owner, is a genius in the kitchen. Born in Guatemala, and married to her Mexican husband for over three decades, she is a self-taught home chef who mixes the perfect combination of spices and flavors in every dish flawlessly.
Leslie, a Bay Area native, has strong Guatemalan roots, and wears multiple hats: Manager, Accountant, HR, Marketing Manager, and more.

Our wedding food was nothing short of amazing! Everyone who attended had amazing compliments for it. The catering team arrived early, flawlessly serving all 80 of our guests, and also managed to coordinate their exit without interrupting the reception timeline. In a nutshell, we have nothing but praise for the entire team! We would definitely recommend them!

Before, we used to order catering from restaurants, however, the food would lose its freshness and taste less appetizing quite quickly. However, when we tried ordering from the food truck, we were pleasantly surprised! The food was not only delicious but also freshly made. Moreover, everyone enjoyed it!
It was quite spectacular to have a food truck at our house party. Needless to say, I will no longer order catering from restaurants and I highly recommend the food truck. I will definitely be booking them again! Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would rate it a 10 out of 10!

What a wonderful experience! The tacos were simply divine - the best I've ever tasted. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how incredible the food was. The staff went above and beyond and were undoubtedly the highlight of the party. They were incredibly responsive and handled scheduling changes with the utmost professionalism. Thank you for your hard work and for providing us with such a scrumptious meal! We will undoubtedly use LILO's Kitchen again in the future.
