Our goal was to eliminate a load-bearing wall that separated our kitchen and dining room in our 1960’s home. After consulting with several contractors with varying prices, we decided to choose Kel because of his thorough estimate and reasonable pricing. Our project appeared to be a simple job, but various problems arose before we even began. We thought of giving up until Kel came back with clever solutions that led to the project's success. The wall between the kitchen and dining room was taken down seamlessly, while the theater underneath was left untouched, except for a slight four-inch bump-out that was integrated elegantly into the theater's back wall. In addition, Kel had to adjust the floor where the wall once stood and rebuild a cold air return, which he accomplished exceptionally well.
