Candace D. Green

Candace D. Green's upbringing on the South-Side of Chicago was riddled with childhood traumas and familial drug and alcohol addiction. She witnessed the devastating loss of family members to drug overdose and suicide. Through failed relationships and postpartum anxiety, Candace rediscovered her self-worth. The death of her youngest brother due to gun violence left her in devastated grief. However, she emerged from these experiences stronger and opened a luxury retail business (N'DACE) during the pandemic. She succeeded in multi-family real estate, mentored under-served youth, and provided re-entry tools to those formerly incarcerated; earning her the title of "Beauty For Ashes".

Candace's inspiring journey has led her to serve the public and offer hope through her testimony since 2010. She speaks to audiences in various settings, encouraging them to use their struggles to heal and inspire others.

Candace has been praised for her business acumen and community work by Mayor Tom Dailly of Schaumburg and 7th District Senator Mike Simmons. She has been recognized as a powerhouse in her industry and received numerous awards, including the Trailblazer Award at the Black Women in Business Gala.

Besides being an accomplished businesswoman, Candace is an Ordained Minister & Officiant, Licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker, 2x Published Author, Blog Writer, and Fashion/Beauty expert. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Entertainment Business, Master of Arts in Public Relations, and Master of Business Administration.

Candace's passion is to exude positive energy and abundance into the atmosphere, giving honor to God and living life unshaken with no opportunity left un-taken. She hopes to uplift and encourage others to find authenticity and always cheer them on despite adversity.
