First Chair Band Instruction

Since September 2021, our son Cole has been learning under the tutelage of the amazing Bob, who is an exceptional educator. Bob's immaculate professionalism, charming personality and ability to make learning an enjoyable experience are truly remarkable. He is highly meticulous and strives to ensure that Cole grasps every detail of what he's learning. Additionally, Bob's excellent communication skills make him a pleasure to work with. Moreover, he is quite flexible and accommodates appointment rescheduling in case of unforeseeable events such as sports or meetings. It is with great pleasure that we recommend Bob to everyone, known or unknown.

First Chair Band Instruction's Bob Hudy is an exceptional instructor. Despite my son's lack of experience with the drums and his timid disposition, Bob was able to communicate and teach him over time. Bob's patience and encouragement helped cultivate not only my son's drumming skills but also his overall confidence. Bob's flexibility with lessons is outstanding. He caters to my son's needs by accommodating sudden requests to learn new songs or going back to drum rudiments that require improvement. Bob adapts the lessons to my son's skill level, pushing him forward while providing support and encouragement. Bob is an incredibly professional instructor. He is always courteous, punctual, and knowledgeable, and an accomplished musician himself. However, what sets Bob apart is his genuine interest in his students as individuals and their development beyond their musical skills. Thanks to Bob's exceptional teaching, my son regularly plays with the church youth group worship team alongside seasoned musicians. We feel blessed to have met Bob, whose positive and sincere energy make him an exceptional instructor.
