About
Experience The Enlightened Core – an embodiment approach to physical health and wellness. With a personal background in performance, massage therapy, and personal training, I am confident in my ability to assist you in achieving your goals to enhance your body's fitness, strength, mobility, injury recovery, skill acquisition, and creative movement. Regardless of your age, background or fitness level, I will work with you to develop a tailor-made program to improve your relationship with movement while also improving your overall quality of life.Choose between virtual sessions held on Zoom or in-person at outdoor parks or in the comfort of your own home, leveraging my expertise as a certified personal trainer, corrective exercise specialist, bodywork and massage therapist. Together, we will design a customized blend of exercises, movement, and bodywork tailored to your specific goals and needs.
Aside from my extensive training in both personal training and bodywork, my passion for wellness stems from a lifelong practice of dance, yoga, mixed martial arts, climbing, running, swimming, and hiking. I have personally experienced a serious neuromuscular disorder, which has shown me the value of a balanced and holistic approach to health and fitness. That's why my training programs focus on functional strength and endurance, while emphasizing sustainable body mechanics for maximum safety and athleticism.
My workout and recovery programs are designed using a combination of traditional and innovative techniques, including strength and conditioning training, mobility exercises, neuromuscular re-patterning, self-myofascial release, and more. My bodywork and massage therapy leverage the best of both Western and Eastern modalities such as deep tissue massage, fascial stretch therapy, acupressure, shiatsu, chi-gong, Reposturing, Thai massage, and the chakra system. I aim to teach my clients how to do self-myofascial release techniques and how to align their body correctly.
My approach to coaching is one that's both disciplined and creative, with an added sprinkle of goofball humor to make every session fun and innovative. I believe that health and wellness transformations are best achieved in a collaborative and supportive environment, and I look forward to working with you toward a healthier lifestyle.
When I'm not coaching, you'll find me playing or listening to music, hand-balancing, learning how to juggle, cooking, spending time with loved ones, or enjoying the great outdoors.
