UPDATE: 09/26/2021 Following my review, their chief technician Vagan contacted me via chat and apologized for the erroneous diagnosis. They also refunded the service call charge. Both of these gestures are appreciated, and as a result, I am revising my review. 09/23/2021 Our dishwasher suddenly stopped working. Appliance Repair & HVAC sent a technician who quoted $520 to replace the Main Control Board and Main Control Panel of our three-year-old GE dishwasher. Given that a new dishwasher costs $500, I opted to replace it and paid a $70 service call fee. However, a day before placing the order, another handyman looked at the dishwasher and reset the GFCI outlet, restoring power. The dishwasher is now functioning properly, having simply tripped. I was disturbed by the incompetence of Appliance Repair & HVAC's certified technician, who missed such a fundamental diagnosis. This experience prompted me to reconsider the reliability of their CrackerJack rating. If not for the handyman, I would have wasted considerable time and money. I will never use this company again and will warn my loved ones to do likewise.
