Cy Winstanley

Hello there! My name is Cy Winstanley, and I'm a singer-songwriter and guitarist based in Nashville, TN. Originally from New Zealand, I've been involved in the music industry for more than two decades and have had the pleasure of performing and touring around the globe.

In Nashville, you can catch me playing solo gigs at weddings and corporate events, as well as working as a live and studio guitarist for various recording artists. Additionally, I write and record original songs. My repertoire spans over 300 songs, from contemporary hits to classic rock, soul, country, and folk music.

If you're looking for something a little more sophisticated, I also lead a jazz trio that performs timeless standards, blues, and groovy tunes. Our line-up typically consists of guitar and vocals, piano, and upright bass, but we can adjust our configuration to fit your needs and budget, and we provide a sound system and everything else required for your event.

I offer guitar and music lessons to students of all ages and levels, from complete beginners to advanced players. I teach a wide range of styles, including country, rock, jazz, bluegrass, blues, and more. I tailor my lessons to my students' preferences and interests, providing backing tracks and written notation to support their progress while fostering a solid foundation in guitar and music theory. I strive to keep my students motivated, practicing, and growing at their own pace.
