Augusta Hopkins, the creator of Mindfulness for Stress Reduction and Success, is the exclusive MBSR instructor in the San Francisco Bay Area, and possibly globally. Her meditation teachings are blessed by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and she has been authorized to teach by the respected organization, Spirit Rock. Since 2006, she has been facilitating mindfulness meditation sessions and teaching MBSR since 2011.

Moreover, she is the founder and leading instructor of SF Sangha, and mentors other instructors in the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.
