Hey there! My name is Adam Easley and I specialize in teaching guitar, violin, and mandolin. Regardless of your musical preferences, I'm here to help you play the music you love. My teaching style is designed to make lessons and practicing more enjoyable. I'll equip you with all the tools you need to become a well-rounded musician. My lessons go beyond memorizing notes, and instead focus on developing musicality and creativity.As a lifelong musician with over 25 years of teaching experience, I appreciate all styles of music. I've played all over and studied at the UOP Conservatory and SF State Jazz Studies Department. Currently, I perform with the impressive Celtic fiddler, Katie Jane Lubiens, in the Katie Jane Band. For the past two years, Adam has been my electric guitar instructor. Then, in high school, I began taking violin lessons from him as well. Throughout my time learning from him, he has always been an enjoyable teacher to work with and be around. Adam has a down-to-earth personality that made me excited for every lesson. As a former employee of a violin store, Adam even went above and beyond to help me get a great deal on my violin. His dedication to his students shows his true care and passion for music. Adam is an exceptional teacher who excels in tutoring both my 8-year-old on the violin and my 12-year-old on the guitar. His mastery of his instruments is incredible. However, what sets him apart from others is his ability to break down each concept into simple steps that my kids quickly grasp. His Skype lessons are characterized by kindness and patience, which enhances the learning process. My kids consistently learn something new in every lesson and are always building on what they previously learned.
