After consulting multiple dog trainers, we finally found Glenn on CrackerJack to help with our 4 year old Aussie's unprovoked aggression towards our older dog, excessive barking and jumping, and unpredictable tendencies such as nipping at people and reacting poorly to other dogs while on walks. Glenn quickly understood the issues and was able to provide clear examples of his training methods and the necessary psychology required to re-train our dog. During the consultation, Glenn spent an hour or more with us and our dog, showing us what he would be working on and explaining how he would address our dog's fear aggressive tendencies. We appreciated his tailored approach, using our personal experiences as areas of focus, rather than a generic training program. Glenn also emphasized that training is not only about changing the dog's behavior, but also about changing the people's behavior so that training will last when we return home. When we opted to enroll our dog in the boot-camp program, Glenn was adamant about helping us and our dog prepare for a variety of situations. The program included many resources such as a "place" mat, a short leash, a muzzle, an e-collar trainer, and a no-pain-no pull collar. Although Glenn was not the most inexpensive trainer we encountered, his results were incredible! We got more for our money than we expected. Glenn's commitment to our dog did not stop after we completed the boot-camp program, he continued supporting us for the life of our dog, providing additional advice and resources as needed. The only drawback was the infrequent updates during the training period, as it was sometimes difficult to reach Glenn. However, the results spoke for themselves, and we have already referred numerous friends to Glenn. We will definitely refer Glenn to anyone searching for a skilled dog trainer.

Although my puppies have yet to begin training, I have had excellent interactions with the staff and am eager to collaborate with them.

From the first email and conversation, Glenn was upfront and honest about his training process and what we could expect. While I had experience training puppies for obedience trials, my family and I found ourselves in over our heads when my daughter adopted a year-old dog with a history of aggression towards humans and food. We knew we needed help, and that's when Glenn and his assistant Erin stepped in. With patience, understanding, and a calm demeanor, Glenn took quiet control of Troy during our "Get to know you" visit, and we knew he was the one we needed. We enrolled Troy in Glenn's boot camp, with weekly visits from us to help reinforce his new learning. Glenn reminded us that training is a family affair and gave us the tools we needed to work with Troy at home. He showed us new approaches to training and living with Troy, which allowed us to see incredible progress in just three weeks. We were delighted to see Troy walking on and off the leash, responding to his name, and being respectful during meal times. Glenn is more than just a dog trainer; he's become our life coach for Troy. We frequently call him with questions, and he's always happy to help. Thanks to Glenn and Erin, our family has been able to provide Troy with his forever home, where before he was just a mess. It's been a joy getting to know both of them, and we can't thank them enough for their help.

Glenn provided excellent training for both our dog and us, resulting in a positive experience overall. He demonstrated patience, knowledge, and amicability throughout the sessions. In addition, he responded thoroughly to all our inquiries, ensuring our comfort during the training process. However, if I had one piece of advice, it would be to establish a clear communication plan beforehand, as emailing worked best for him. Despite that, we highly recommend Glenn and his family as expert dog trainers! :)
