Apart from my impressive stats - 2380 out of 2400 on the SAT, an early action acceptance and 3.84 GPA at Princeton University, an English major, senior thesis prize winner, and 10+ years of experience as an all-around SAT/ACT and Common App expert - I value the process of learning. As a teacher, I prioritize accountability, curiosity, and the process over just focusing on the end product. My goal is to help students refine their way of thinking and working with themselves, one milestone at a time.
My teaching style is student-centered, process-oriented, warm and direct, engaging and efficient, and intuitive, empathetic and incisive. I provide completely personalized curriculum based on my students' diagnostic tests and teaching approach. My strategies, tips, and tricks are unique and specific to help my students ace the test.
For college counseling, my students have been accepted to prestigious universities in the US, UK, and Canada.

Hi, I'm Shannon and I'm the proud mom of Nell, a 17-year-old high school junior. For the past few months, Nell has been receiving SAT tutoring from Jasmine. They meet twice a week for 90 minutes each session, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Jasmine has formed a genuine connection with Nell, which has been invaluable for my daughter, who struggles with anxiety and trust.

Hi, I'm Shannon and I have a 17-year-old HS junior named Nell. Nell has been undergoing SAT tutoring twice a week for the past couple of months, with each session lasting for 90 minutes. We are thrilled with Jasmine's work. As a mother, I have enjoyed listening to the bond between Jasmine and Nell. As my daughter has anxiety, it's not easy for her to connect with people. However, after just one session with Jasmine, Nell was hooked, and I was relieved. The two of them work diligently, laugh a lot, and Nell has made significant progress. In October, Sam achieved a score of 1500, a significant improvement from consistently scoring in the high 1300s for many months prior. This impressive improvement is thanks to Jasmine, who has been an absolute savior. Despite being a diligent student, my daughter tends to experience anxiety, particularly in the realms of mathematics and assessments. She had almost given up, assuming she couldn't improve any further. Under Jasmine's guidance, however, Sam experienced a positive shift in mindset and approach, leading to many breakthroughs, both in regards to formulas and general approaches to learning. In July, we enlisted the help of Jasmine to tutor my daughter, who was then a junior. After several months of working together at least twice a week, my daughter's score on the November SAT was an impressive 1580 – a huge improvement from her score of 1300 the previous year. With this impressive score, my daughter is now applying to Ivy League schools with confidence. Although Jasmine's services were more expensive than other tutors we considered, it was definitely worth the investment, especially since other tutors did not work well with my daughter. Thanks to Jasmine's exceptional services, many opportunities have opened up for my daughter. Furthermore, my son, who has trouble focusing, showed significant improvement after just one session with Jasmine.
