Michelle was hired to do my hair and makeup for prom but unfortunately, her level of professionalism was less than satisfactory. I had informed her that I had plans to go out with friends at 5 PM, but she told me she would only arrive after 2 PM - this can be seen in the photos. However, she eventually showed up only at 4:30 PM, with another lady to do my hair. The other lady pulled my hair painfully hard and burned my ears and neck several times with a straightener instead of a curler. I had requested a specific hairstyle, but Michelle only curled the ends of my hair and didn't even put the hairpiece in the center. Although the eye makeup was decent, Michelle had to apply the eyeliner five times and she used Equate flushable wipes instead of makeup wipes to wipe the top of my eyes. I had to fix the eyeliner myself as she couldn't do it right. Michelle also used a foundation that was much lighter than my skin tone and later applied bronzer that was way too dark, leaving my face patchy and streaky. When I asked her to fix it, she wanted to charge me more. I ended up fixing my makeup and had to redo a lot of the work she did on my hair. Michelle used all her products directly on me, which was not hygienic, and applied pink lipstick on me instead of the red one I had requested to match my dress. Her tardiness and shoddy work made me an hour late for my prom and I didn't get to go out with my friends before the event. I was extremely unhappy with the result and asked her if she could negotiate the price. However, Michelle became threatening when I requested a lower price. I ended up paying over $200 for hair and makeup that ignored my requests and desired outcome. It was a very unprofessional and negative experience.

I recommend this young lady's salon with five stars. Her vibe is incredible and her salon is both beautiful and comfortable. She comes highly recommended!
