Eames Music

For over sixteen years, I have been instructing prospective musicians in guitar and piano. My name is David, and I have received classical training in both instruments at the University of Missouri-Kansas City Conservatory, under the tutelage of esteemed mentors Douglas Niedt, Karen Kushner, and Christopher Madden. In addition to my classical education, I have studied jazz guitar with renowned figures like Danny Embrey, Jay EuDaly, and Stanton Kessler. My students come from all walks of life - beginners, intermediates, and native experts - but I specialize in coaching students who have previously struggled to produce headway with their instruments. Despite the focus on progress, I take a relaxed apporach that emphasizes excellence in all aspects of instruction. Rather than employing exercises or rote repetition, students are encouraged to learn in the context of "real" music and musical practice. Students can access two studio locations, one located in my home studio in Raytown, MO, just fifteen minutes from anywhere in the KC metro area, and the other situated in Blue Springs off of I-70 Highway.
