About
Having worked for over two decades in the performing arts industry, my experience spans various genres including musical theatre, contemporary plays and Shakespeare, performing at Regional Theatres, Off-Broadway shows and national tours. I am passionate about what I do and enjoy meeting new people. Recently, I completed my MFA in Acting from the University of Idaho, where I was privileged to learn from some amazing mentors who helped me become the artist I am today. Now, I aim to help you refine your skills so you can secure your next job. To get started, I offer a free 20-minute consultation on Zoom to learn about your experience and goals.

Additionally, if you're interested in Shakespeare, I can help you pick out some monologues to work on before our first lesson. I take pride in making the language more accessible to help you have fun with the text.

To make my services accessible, I keep my prices low because I believe that we are all in this together, and I'm excited to be inspired by what you bring to our sessions. So, get in touch with me for pricing and availability- I look forward to working with you!

As a director and coach, Michael is exceptional. He grants his performers the liberty and patience to delve into the plot of a monologue. Furthermore, he posed thought-provoking inquiries while maintaining a lively demeanor. With the aid of visualization, repetition, and discussion, he facilitated my exploration of critical junctures within my monologue. Notably, he is an attentive listener who places immense confidence in his cast's discoveries. Working with him was undeniably enjoyable.

During the shutdown, I had the privilege of being selected for Michael's "Coriolanus" Zoom production. Although unfamiliar with the play, I was appreciative of Michael's outstanding guidance in portraying Volumnia. He has a deep understanding of actors and their craft, and he values the significance of the script and its context. Collaborating with him was an absolute pleasure, and I wholeheartedly endorse him to aspiring and seasoned actors alike!

Michael guided me through my performance in Richard III, a show of which I had limited knowledge at the outset. He provided me with clarity on my lines, advised me on scene management, and aided me in developing my character. His extensive understanding of the show and its characters contributed significantly to the overall enjoyment of the experience, surpassing any expectations I had previously held.
