Pure Aqua, a San Francisco-based company, offers comprehensive services for aquariums, koi ponds, fountains, pools, and spas. With over 20 years of expertise, we specialize in designing, building, and maintaining biological systems in various settings such as homes, businesses, and educational establishments. Our custom design and installation services are available throughout the Bay Area, including emergency assistance.Tony, our founder, developed a passion for fish as a teenager, creating his own systems and working at a Foster City fish store. His diligence resulted in the birth of Pure Aqua in 1997, starting with aquarium maintenance and eventually expanding to encompass all our services, including for ponds, fountains, hot tubs, and spas, providing all under one roof.

The fish pond setup I received was originally designed by an inexperienced individual, and it had become quite troublesome, particularly when it came to maintaining the filters. Thankfully, Tony was able to assist me promptly, offering a few different solutions to remedy the issue. On his next visit, he helped to create a bypass for the leaky filter system while he worked on installing a new filter and pump. Additionally, he added a new protective screen and made sure to thoroughly clean the waterfall area. I am very pleased with his work and would gladly recommend him to others.

Pure Aqua's Tony did a remarkable job by clearing out the roots that were blocking the pump area of my pond. He also removed the accumulated sludge that had built up over the years in the waterfall receptacle and filter. Thanks to his promptness in answering my call, providing a timely estimate, and efficiently completing the task, my pond and waterfall are now functioning smoothly. I am impressed with his work and intend to engage his services for regular maintenance work in the future.
