Greetings, my name is Sami and I appreciate you taking the time to view my profile. As a college counselor, I have successfully fostered self-assurance and self-awareness in high school juniors and seniors as well as college transfers. With over 13 years of experience guiding students through the college application process, I am dedicated to helping your student discover their true identity, compile a personalized college list, and compose riveting essays that accurately reflect their best qualities. My background in sales, marketing, and recruiting has equipped me to emphasize the importance of authentic self-expression in personal statements. Additionally, I provide every student with various resources including guides and templates for each step of the process. My services extend to aiding the students in determining their career goals and college major, crafting a compelling resume and activity section, and preparing them for college interviews.

I am passionate about working with all types of students, including those with special needs, as I have personal experience with my autistic son. My clients appreciate my dedication and personal investment in their success, as well as my belief in the importance of having a sense of direction in college.

In terms of qualifications, my students for the 2022-2023 admissions year were accepted into leading private and public universities such as USC, Vanderbilt, Villanova, Rice, UCLA, UC Berkeley, Boston College, Notre Dame, Lehigh, Syracuse, Georgetown, Bucknell, University of Virginia, University of Georgia, and University of Florida. I possess a B.S. in Communication from Cornell University and an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management. I am also pursuing UCLA's College Counseling certificate program.
