I am an E-RYT 200 certified yoga instructor with five years of experience and over 1,200 teaching hours. As a Yoga Alliance Registered Teacher and YACEP, I offer private yoga lessons and meditation or pranayama sessions. My expertise includes chair yoga and aquatic yoga, catering to individuals with limited mobility or beginners.I am flexible with my location and can travel to downtown Chicago areas or provide a fully-equipped fitness facility in Streeterville for private sessions. My teaching experience includes group fitness classes at various high-rise residences and private clients in downtown, Streeterville, and Gold Coast.
I specialize in muscle conditioning, flexibility development, strength building, posture alignment, and balance improvement. My goal is to help clients lose weight, tone muscles, increase endurance, reduce tension, and prevent injuries.
I offer personalized and tailored yoga practice for individuals with injuries or illnesses, focusing on their improvement areas and building on their strengths. With my own experience in overcoming injuries from my athletic career, I guide clients towards proper rehabilitation and body strengthening.
My pricing for private lessons is $75/hour, with discounts for advance purchases of 6, 10, 15, 30, or 40 sessions. I offer special rates for new clients, including two 1-hour private yoga sessions for $100. Additionally, I provide semi-private and large group classes for special events and corporate wellness, with rates and packages available upon request.

I thoroughly enjoyed taking a yoga class with Katie in my previous apartment complex, prompting me to request private lessons in my new building. Katie is exceptionally accommodating with scheduling and offers sessions in the early morning, afternoon, or evening. If one's building has a gym, Katie will come to the location, or individuals can visit her downtown facility. Her prices are reasonable, particularly when purchasing packages. Katie conducts herself in a highly professional manner, inquiring about any medical concerns or objectives. She then adapts each session accordingly, focusing on areas such as core or arms. As a newcomer, I primarily work on balance. Katie has a soothing yoga tone that relaxes and calms. She speaks softly but loud enough to be heard over the music. Her guidance is detailed and concise, vital for individuals with limited experience. Furthermore, she challenges clients to work hard and remains accountable for their progress. I have witnessed Katie's work with various clients, regardless of their level; she effectively motivates individuals to enjoy and excel in yoga.
