Hello there! My name is Ryan, and I am proud to be an alum of Berklee. While my main expertise lies in music, I also offer regular tutoring services for math and chess. Although I am based in Maryland, I conduct online lessons for my remote students.My musical journey started way before Berklee, as I strived to immerse myself in every possible musical scenario. This has given me a unique multi-perspective understanding, enabling me to guide students of all ages and backgrounds on various instruments, styles, and theoretical concepts.
Teaching is an incredibly rewarding experience for me because it allows me to continue learning while passing on knowledge and experiences to help others grow. Ryan went above and beyond our expectations by successfully completing a challenging project. He collaborated with me to arrange music performances for a birthday celebration, which included accompanying novice singers and musicians. In addition, he orchestrated a unique performance with four children ranging from ages 4 to 11, played background music, and even improvised an accompaniment for the birthday celebrant! Ryan's expertise was exemplary as he provided valuable assistance in executing my vision. He displayed creativity, receptiveness, adaptability, and patience, especially with the children involved. We are eternally grateful for his exceptional contribution and the extensive value he provided for our event.

Ryan responded promptly and was eager to instruct our 14-year-old in jazz piano. As we were struggling to find a local instructor, we decided to try an online approach. Ryan, a skilled and youthful teacher, adeptly taught our daughter through Zoom. She thoroughly enjoyed her learning experience with him, and he effectively helped her overcome some rhythm-related obstacles in preparation for an audition.
