I obtained my cosmetology license in 2009 at the age of 22; however, I have been proficient in hair and makeup for much longer. During high school, I offered my beautifying services to my peers for all school dances for monetary compensation. As a teenager, I found pleasure in accompanying my mother, a stylist, to the salon on hectic days and assisting her with customer interactions. I derived immense satisfaction from styling hair and witnessing the positive impact my services had on customers.
