With a number of inquiries and the need for assistance in determining the ideal design and dimensions, I was provided with pictures and diagrams for guidance. As a first-time user of the company, I initially had reservations about placing an order with a non-local business. However, the team at Alithea Design alleviated my concerns and thoroughly explained the entire process, ensuring my comfort. From the initial quote to the selection of the stone, to the thorough inspection, and ultimately the design and manufacture of the ring, John's expertise was flawless. Notably, when I moved my deadline to Labor Day weekend, John went above and beyond and worked diligently on a Friday evening - on a holiday weekend! The finished product was expedited overnight to North Carolina and arrived just in time for my planned mountaintop proposal. Working with John was a fantastic experience. I had the idea to create a custom band that would perfectly match my engagement ring, but with COVID concerns, I was worried about how it would turn out without being able to meet him in person or show him my ring. However, John put my mind at ease and requested some photos of my ring to start the process. Using my sketches and the pictures he received, he created an initial CAD for the design. We went back and forth to perfect the design and John 3D printed a plastic mold for me to try on with my engagement ring for the perfect flush setting. Once we finalized the design and sizing, John produced the final ring in metal and delivered it to me. The entire process took around 2 months, and John was extremely responsive and helpful throughout. He provided valuable advice on my ideas and ensured the feasibility of the design. The final ring is a stunning piece of uniquely customized jewelry that I absolutely adore. I wholeheartedly recommend John's services to anyone looking for custom jewelry.
