The work done by FBSG was exceptional and the experience was excellent. The company upgraded our clogged and inefficient 5-inch gutters to 6-inch gutters, wider downspouts, and included gutter guards. They handled some peculiar challenges with smart and economical solutions. The challenges included a two-story, 1922 four-square with no fascia boards, a metal roof and a sloped lot, making 3/4 of the work higher than two stories. Additionally, they installed customized flashing on our new back porch roof, which had an unusual half-moon cutout over an oak tree. They even created a diverter to prevent water from pouring onto the tree trunk and instead routing it to the gutter, finishing the work with an elegant rain chain. FBSG also simplified the front porch gutters configuration to drain into the main downspout, removing the clunky downspouts from the front columns. They also repaired a spot of rotted wood that had resulted from a previous front porch gutter configuration. The company responded promptly to our quote request, with a reasonable price given the complexity of the job. The work took two days, including a half day of cleanup from the gutters' previous state. FBSG was easy-going, personable, and always had an agreeable and can-do attitude. They were intelligent problem solvers and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this company.
