About
Known for his exceptional strengths and skills, Michael Bishop made a name for himself as a child athlete and put his hometown, Willis, Texas on the map. He excelled in both football and baseball during his time at Willis High School, and even went on to be drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 28th round of the 1995 Major League Baseball Draft. However, it was football that stole Michael's heart, and he went on to become an outstanding player at Blinn College and Kansas State University. He even received the Davey O'Brien Award in 1998 for being the top QB and was a runner up for the Heisman Award the same year. Michael was later drafted by the New England Patriots in the seventh round of the 1999 NFL Draft, and played for numerous football teams over the years, including the Green Bay Packers and the Calgary Stampeders.
Michael's impressive football career saw him win several awards, such as the Fiesta Bowl MVP in 1997 and the Kansas Hall of Fame in 2012. He was also nominated for the College Football Hall of Fame several times, starting from 2016.
Following his retirement from football, Michael has become a highly sought-after speaker, drawing on his many years of experience and positive mindset to inspire and motivate his audiences. His talks cover a wide range of topics, from leadership and teamwork to making tough decisions and adapting to change. His warm and humorous approach makes his presentations both engaging and thought-provoking. One of his most memorable quotes is, “The ability to succeed is nurtured by your ability to adapt!”
