Although I was grateful for their promptness, I found their lack of transparency regarding their special offer frustrating. Their advertisement claimed to offer an inspection and cleaning for only $149, but they failed to disclose that this price was solely for an 8ft chimney. As our chimney was notably taller, the final cost came out to be much higher. After discovering a crack, we appreciated their work patching it up, although their fee for this service was also steep, and the repair work was left with an unsatisfactory appearance. Ultimately, what was supposed to be a $149 service ended up costing us close to $700. While I commend them for their responsiveness during inclement weather, I remain hesitant to employ their services in the future for this type of work. At the very least, I have learned to ask more informed questions about service costs going forward.
