Managing his own schedule as a self-employed contractor, Jorge ensured that he had sufficient time between jobs to avoid the need to rush a given task for another. He provided his service even on weekends, using his free days based on workloads. On the day of the job, Jorge arrived in his own transport with all necessary cleaning resources. He showed us his three-step process: 1. Remove and clean all screens. 2. Clean all outside windows. 3. Clean all inside windows, sills, and channels. By demonstrating his commitment to the task at hand, Jorge left no doubt as to his competence. After spending 3 to 4 hours on the job, the disparity between the clean and the untouched windows was self-evident. The windows that he had cleaned were smooth and sparkly, appearing like they had been updated, while the uncleaned windows felt like sandpaper. On inquiring whether he intended to take a break, Jorge responded that he prefers to work straight through until the task is complete. He only paused briefly to drink a refreshment before returning to the task. Jorge painstakingly attended to each window with an emphasis on every detail, ensuring that no streaks, smudges, or mud remained. After six to seven hours, he completed the task. The outcomes were remarkable. The windows appeared brand new, shinier, and cleaner. Interestingly, after several days of on-and-off mild to heavy rain and drizzle, the windows remained spotlessly clean. In conclusion, we were very satisfied with the outcome.
