Continuing to impress me, Sensei Werth remained himself and did not become a robotic instructor. He treated each individual in the family class with respect and met them where they were at. Dealing with young children cannot be easy, but Sensei Werth and the co-owner of the dojo managed it with ease. The class comprised not only of young children and beginners, but adults and parents too. The approach towards students at this dojo was gentle and individualized. It was more of an encouragement to participate at one's level, both in terms of skill and energy, rather than rushing to acquire skills.
