We wer... read moree promised an install date six weeks after signing our contract but were left in the dark for eight weeks until we contacted Gerome. We were scheduled for an install date 13 weeks after signing, but it was postponed due to issues with the shower pan. Furthermore, the product did not live up to its promise of being anti-microbial and reducing shower smell, as it became covered in pink slime less than a week after use. The contractors did not follow our agreed upon plans to demo the bathroom, instead only installing the shower on top of existing wall boards. Gerome's response when confronted was dismissive and uncaring. The connection made to the cold water caused a crack in the existing plumbing and flooded our basement, causing significant damage. Not only did they come back multiple times to finish the job, but they also failed to install the shower door correctly, causing leaks throughout the bathroom and utility room. We regret using RS Home Remodelers and strongly advise against it due to their unprofessional behavior and poor service. Be sure to read the contract carefully and ensure all discussions are outlined properly to avoid a similar nightmare. read less"

Tyler came across as highly professional and respectful when he dropped by my place. On the day the work was to be carried out, Tyler spent an amount of time longer than initially expected, ensuring that the job was done correctly and without taking any shortcuts. He even cleaned up after himself once he had finished. His communication was also top-notch, with regular updates from him as to his status. I'm grateful for having found this company, as they saved me several thousands of dollars and now have me as a loyal customer. I intend on putting through a few more requests for work around my home, having now developed a trusting relationship with both Tyler and Josh. Finding someone who loves their work and knows how to communicate proficiently is quite rare nowadays. I would advise anyone in need of handyman work to highly consider this company! Both a new front door and bathroom exhaust fan/light were installed at a cost that was only a quarter of what some other firms were quoting me for just the door alone!
