I couldn't be happier with the results and will definitely be calling them again for my bathroom floors. Although I researched and read Thiago's glowing ratings and testimonials, I must confess I was still apprehensive about the new kitchen tile being level with the pre-existing hardwood floors in the house. However, Thiago's workmanship was impeccable, resulting in a seamless finish without any uneven transitions or awkward transitions strips. Furthermore, after the tile installation, I went ahead and installed kitchen cabinets and appliances on top of the tile flooring. To my delight, everything lined up perfectly. Given the diagonal-planked subfloor with numerous knots and holes, I had to carry out an extensive floor demolition to bring everything down to floor joists for a new subfloor to be installed. As seen in the photos, my porcelain Daltile Astronomy Nebula tiles measure 12"x24". Although some finish carpentry such as baseboards and door casings are still outstanding, this does not take anything away from Modern Tile Installations exceptional work. read less"

"I requested the repair of our back door which was kicked in and also asked for it to be replaced. Although my spouse was home when the repairman arrived, he trusted that the job would be done correctl... read morey, as the repairman agreed to cut out the damaged area and replace it with a $20 metal door plate for added security. Instead, the repairman merely glued the split wood together and added the plate on top, leaving the door looking unprofessional and unfinished. Despite spending $200 on the job, it was completed poorly and quickly, taking only two hours to pick up the door plate despite living just five minutes away from the hardware store. I am disappointed in my decision to trust this repairman and feel that I wasted my money on a shoddy job that I now need to hire another professional to fix correctly. To all potential customers, I advise against hiring this individual as it was a total rip off for just 15 minutes of work and $180 charged. read less"
