However, our trainer quickly recognized that it wasn't an aggression issue but rather that our dogs were high-energy and needed to learn how to calm down and switch off. After dealing with so much fighting, our trainer helped ease my anxiety and allowed me to trust my dogs again. In just 45 minutes, she was able to evaluate our dogs and take them all for a walk together, which hadn't happened in two years! Gin... read moreger is a sweet-tempered dog, but she can be stubborn and strong-willed. During a walk, she once pulled out of my hand to chase a smaller dog down the street. Although she is territorial, and chased the dog off our property, she soon came back to see why I was shouting at her. I was initially worried that I wouldn't be able to keep Ginger because of her size and occasional reactive behavior. However, I couldn't bear to give her away, as she is a part of the family. I was afraid that big dogs like her would be hard to adopt, especially if they were abandoned in a shelter. I discovered Calm on CommandK9 and decided to give their dog training program a try.
