Who would have thought that LED lights which transform colors can be fitted under the cabinets - amazing! I still can't get enough of them today!! As for the island surround, Casey suggested flooring planks which were unconventional but gave a unique touch to the project - something I couldn't have come up with by myself. I have renovated four houses previously, but this particular project is the best result I have ever witnessed!! Everything is flawless!! The entirety of the project is seamless - leaving no odd or awkward gaps between the ceiling and cabinets. For example, I wanted to remove two walls and install a custom-built island, but the latter was beyond my budgetary constraints. My project manager suggested a clever alternative and proposed raising home depot kitchen cabinets, which he then finished with siding and corner pieces. The savings I realized were substantial, allowing me to install some stunning pendant lights. I'm incredibly pleased with the level of creativity and the quality of the work done, and I'm sure to continue working with Goat Construction in the future. In the project, we removed two walls, patched and painted, added five pendant lights, created an island, installed cabinets in the dry bar, created and mounted a customized wine rack, removed an outdated hood, added/moved outlets to accommodate the new design, and even fixed some other small issues that previous contractors had left behind, such as damaged baseboards. read less"
