Whenever I need to select vendors, I usually get bids from at least three sources. Unfortunately, one vendor failed to show up for a quote and did not even bother to call to apologize for their tardiness, which showed a lack of respect for my time. Another vendor attempted to force their service on me, assuming that they already had the job, and offering the lowest bid.
