Despite not meeting before booking, I trusted him due to our positive phone conversation and his perceived expertise. He assured me that he could complete the job in one weekend, but arrived late and alone on the first day to dig up my lawn. Although I questioned whether he had assistance, he assured me his team would assist later. I was confused when he left early on day two as planned, only to find out he was unable to complete the job because his sand supplier was closed on Sundays. He committed to coming back on Monday but failed to show up or respond to messages for several days, attributing his absence to illness. After putting up with inconsistent communication and missed deadlines, Lester showed up on Saturday, initially promising to complete the job before Thanksgiving. However, he turned up late and failed to finish the project, while still charging me in full. I attempted to contact him about the unfinished project, but did not receive a response until days later when he committed to coming on Monday, which he has yet to do. I'm disappointed and feel cheated because I paid for an incomplete and unsatisfactory job, left with a litter box-like lawn and dry plants. Lester misled me about his proposed timeline, failed to deliver on promises, and even lied about planting extra flowers. I regret that I trusted this app to provide vetted professionals, only to end up with an amateur who did a mediocre job. read less"
