Mrs. Zamarra had high standards for design and helped me to reach them. Through designing with initials stamps, I learned the fundamentals of dynamic graphic design, which I now incorporate into my work. Our book project taught me to work in mixed media and the importance of great layout in book spread design. Mrs. Zamarra instilled in me the value of envisioning and applying different studio habits of mind. She never doubted my abilities and challenged me to think critically about my design choices, including placement, color, and font. Her teaching and guidance have become integral to my design process, and I reflect on everything she's taught me when creating new work.
