Coach Zach: Meet Zach, the owner of Z Strength Training! He has a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, an Associate's degree in Psychology and Biology, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through NSCA, a Certified Pain Free Performance Specialist (PPSC), and has a background in Physical Therapy and Rehab. With 10 years of experience as a Fitness Professional, Zach is also a Competitive Powerlifter and a previous USPA VA State Record Holder.
Coach Yusuf: Meet Yusuf, the owner of YSH Personal Training. He is a certified personal trainer with the NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) and has 5 years of experience in strength and conditioning. He has been a Striking Coach for 4 years and has worked for 2 UFC gym locations, Strike Studio in Onelife, and the Yamasaki academy. Yusuf is also a black belt in Taekwondo and loves incorporating mixed martial arts in helping his clients achieve their fitness goals!
Coach Nate: Meet Nate, an Exercise Physiologist with the ACSM and a holder of a BS in Exercise Science. He is inclusive and works with special needs, LGBT, and BIPOC. Nate has over 4 years of experience in Personal Training and Rehab and has 7+ years martial arts experience, particularly in Capoeira. He loves incorporating this in helping his clients achieve their fitness goals!
Coach Armando: Meet Armando, an ACE certified Personal Trainer with a BS in Exercise Science. He has worked with athletes ranging from middle school kids to D1 college athletes, as well as with the general population from ages 20-92 years old. Armando is all about helping you become the strongest version of yourself!

Zach is an exceptional instructor and coach who possesses remarkable qualities such as being understanding, encouraging, well-informed, businesslike, immensely adaptable, and motivates you to strive towards your objectives in a health-conscious approach. His instruction is never dull, and he customizes it to suit your individual preferences. Despite my inclination for avoiding workouts, particularly as I have hit middle age, I require a firm approach. The best personal trainer out there is Zach, no doubt about it. Upon meeting Zach, I shared my goals and he quickly assessed my strengths and weaknesses, and customized a program that not only met my expectations but exceeded them. In less than a month, I was able to increase my bench press PR by 65lbs, my squats by 50lbs, and my deadlifts beyond what I believed I could do. Opting to train with Zach has been one of the finest decisions of my life. With each session, I am confronted with challenges that are as informative as they are demanding. Not only have I witnessed outstanding results, but I have also garnered significant knowledge through our interactions. Initially, I could barely execute three proper pushups, but now I accomplish 3 sets of 15 without any difficulty. What I admire most about Zach is his genuine concern for his clients' overall wellbeing, safety, and individual objectives for which he always goes the extra mile. To top it all off, his punctuality and professionalism are undeniable, and training with him feels akin to exercise sessions with a long-time companion.
