Identity Crisis

Originating from the suburbs of Chicago, Identity Crisis is a dance music cover band that specializes in playing top 40 dance hits from various genres ranging from pop, R&B, soul, and disco to funk, Latin, calypso, country, rock, classic rock, swing, alternative, Motown, and more. We have been rendering our services for various occasions such as birthday parties, graduation parties, anniversary parties, community events, concerts in the park, bars, fundraisers, weddings, corporate events, promotional events, festivals, fairs, etc., since 2007. Additionally, we are available for being hired for special wedding proposal moments, and we can come as a duo, charging special pricing for 1-3 songs.

At Identity Crisis, we perform tons of song medleys and mix songs into one another so that the dance floor doesn't stop. Conga lines form, and the fun never ceases all night long. We only play songs that are danceable but can learn songs upon request. Our full band includes a guitarist/keyboard, bass, drums, and vocals with Latin percussion, and the base price for 1-2 hours of performance is $600. For every additional hour, an extra $300 is charged.

We take payment through cash, check, Venmo, and Zell/Chase Quickpay and CashApp. A non-refundable deposit up to 50% of your total event quote is required to hold the event date on our calendar, along with a signed contract. If you're more than a 60-minute drive from Downers Grove, IL, additional charges for gas costs may arise, and a hotel stay might be required if you're more than 1.5 hours away from our location, and your event lasts until midnight or later.

We offer a discounted price for seasonal or year-round event booking for event planners who book us multiple times. For example, we play outdoor events for Jewel-Osco throughout the spring, summer, and fall, giving them a discounted price for bookings that exceed 2 hours.
