I provide a range of services, including private singing voice lessons for beginners to professionals, gender-affirming voice training, manual therapy for the voice, public speaking coaching, and vocal health coaching. As a teacher, I prioritize self-discovery and inspiration through the voice, and use evidence-based voice pedagogy to teach you about the anatomy and physiology of your voice. My passion for voice science and research ensures that you will receive the best possible instruction in a safe and welcoming environment.

My name is Brittani Farrell, and I am the founder and owner of Lotus Voice Studio. My background includes a master's degree in voice performance and speech pathology, as well as work at the Grabscheid Voice and Swallowing Center in Manhattan, where I specialize in voice and upper airway rehabilitation for professional voice users and singers. At the studio, I specialize in helping you learn to use your voice in a way that will allow it to last a lifetime.

I teach hobbyists, professional artists, aspiring artists, college-level music students, self-care enthusiasts, and you! My advanced qualifications include a certificate in Vocology, gender-affirming voice training, Lessac-Madsen Resonant Voice Therapy, Casper Stone Confidential Flow Therapy, and manual therapy for voice and swallowing.

To get started, I offer a complimentary 30-minute consultation to learn about you and your goals. Afterward, I'll complete a voice profile and assessment in a 45-minute introductory lesson, which costs $70.

For drop-in lessons, I charge $100 for 45 minutes or $120 for an hour. For advanced students, I offer $70 30-minute coachings upon assessment. Subscriptions are also available, with a monthly auto-charge that can be canceled with 30 days' notice. Subscriptions include the weekly studio class, and discounts for five vacation weeks, two teacher weeks, and four student weeks that are "unpaid." The rates for subscriptions are $320 for 45 minutes a week or $395 for 60 minutes a week.

My studio is located in Washington Heights in NYC, but I also offer online lessons to students anywhere in the world. The lotus serves as a symbol for my music studio, inspiring students to persevere through the struggles of the creative process and our judgmental minds. Building a connection with our voice is a journey that isn't easy, but it brings great joy and helps build self-esteem.
