I provide Japanese language instruction to both beginners and intermediate learners, whether they are supplementing their formal studies or seeking standalone guidance. My instruction emphasizes cultural immersion, as a crucial component of learning the language involves understanding traditional customs and practices. To supplement the learning process, I incorporate musical elements to engage and expand the student's vocabulary.

My educational background includes a BA in Asian Studies and an MBA in International Management from UCLA. I resided in Japan for over 2 1/2 years, living in eight different cities, to gain a deep understanding of the language and culture. Additionally, I have four semesters of experience teaching Conversational Japanese at a local junior college. I take great pleasure in instructing both adults and children who are passionate about mastering the language.
