Hello there! Our names are Ben and Kelly, and we are co-owners and trainers at Bark Busters Home Dog Training Mid-Maryland. Our goal is to bring harmony and balance to your household by working with both your human and furry family members. What sets us apart from other trainers is that we do not use any harsh methods like shock collars, choke chains, prong collars or treats to train your dog. Instead, we offer in-home training sessions where you and your furry friend can learn and interact in the comfort of your own space. As in-home behavioral specialists, we focus on teaching you how to communicate better with your dog, building leadership, respect and trust. Ben Miller is amazing and his use of the Bark Buster’s technique is incredibly effective. I used to have two Chi Tzus, one of which was extremely aggressive towards strangers, neighbors, and friends, which made me feel embarrassed. In fact, one neighbor even joked that our dog had the devil living inside of her, which was simultaneously funny and not funny. That’s when we employed the services of Bark Busters, and we've been extremely impressed by the results. Our once-aggressive dog no longer has the devil inside, and we’re continuing to work with Ben to help both of our boys become the best they can be.

Ben is an incredible trainer! When my rescue dog, Lucky, started exhibiting signs of aggression at just four years old, I was uncertain of how to handle it. However, Ben provided me with the knowledge and tools necessary to regain control of the situation. After only three weeks of training, Lucky has become calm and has not displayed any further aggressive behavior. In addition, I previously had trouble walking Lucky because she would constantly pull on her leash, but now she stays right beside me on our walks. The training methods used by Ben and Bark Busters are exceptional, and I highly recommend them to anyone experiencing issues with their dogs. Thank you, Ben, for your remarkable skills and expertise!

Despite his professionalism, Ben was also very approachable and friendly. He began by familiarizing himself with my dog and sharing his training methodology. While observing Laika and I interact, he patiently explained the reasoning behind each exercise, helping me to execute them correctly. Remarkably, Laika displayed noticeable behavioral changes just a few hours after our session. I am eager to continue working with Ben and feel very hopeful about our progress.
